Hurricane Sandy Relief Opportunity

Yesterday, a Wal-Mart track traveled all the way from Las Vegas to St. John's University to donate materials for those who were affected by Hurricane Sandy.  Many students and faculty members gathered together at Sullivan Café to help sort all of the donations, so that we can distribute everything to local communities.

We are currently still in the process of sorting through the many boxes and bags of donations.
If you would like to help out, feel free to come by Sullivan Café anytime today and tomorrow.
We would greatly appreciate it!

Have you had the chance to help out with any Hurricane Sandy Relief opportunities?
If so, please share your experience with us.

Help Those Effected by Hurricane Sandy

As we all know, many families and lives have been effected by the dangerous hurricane we were faced with at the beginning of the week. We hope that you and your family are safe!

There are many families and individuals without homes, power, clothing, food and water! The School of Education and Kappa Delta Pi would like to lend a helping hand to those in need and in order for us to do that, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are asking anyone in the St. John's Community to drop off:
o    Clothing
o    Water
o    Socks
o    Undergarments
o    Cups
o    Plastic cutlery
o    Non-perishable item
o    Toiletries
o    Baby wipes (any baby items including Diapers)
o    Blankets
o    Anything you think these families in need may need

All items can be dropped off in Sullivan Hall Room G-06. We would like to hand out donations over the weekend, so if you can get anything in to us today that would be even better. If not, anything you can bring in over the course of the week will be greatly appreciated!!
