America Reads* America Serves
What is Amer ica Reads*Amer ica Ser ves?
America Reads * America Serves is a program that recruits undergraduate college students to mentor/tutor students in grades Pre-K – 12 or to work in a specialized field. For example: A Recreation Center, Nursing Home or other sites that must be approved by the Director of the program.
What type of Student are you looking for ?
We are looking for students who can commit to 15 to 20 hours a week and must be available to participate starting fall 2011. All hours will be flexible based on your schedule. Students are eligible to earn an hourly wage of $10 ONLY if they receive federal work-study (FWS) funds. You may volunteer your services for additional experience as an Education major (RESUME PURPOSES!).
